Part of the famed “Legion of Doom” line with John LeClair and Mikael Renberg, Eric Lindros would put up 70 points in 46 regular season games played during the 1994-95 NHL season and an additional 15 points in 12 playoff games as part of the Flyers run to the Eastern Conference Finals. Awarded both the Hart Memorial Trophy and Lester B. Pearson award for his efforts, offered here is this Philadelphia Flyers jersey worn by Lindros during the 1994-95 season, his first as captain of the Flyers, that has been photo-matched to the playoffs. A CCM made garment, both Maska Air-Knit and size “56” tags grace the inner collar with the logos of CCM and the NHL having been embroidered over the reverse hem, the front of the jersey has been decorated with the forever popular winged-P Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill along with the distinguished captain’s “C” over the left breast. Lindros’ number “88” has been sewn to both sleeves and the verso in dual layer tackle twill numerals while “Lindros” is spelt out in white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Signed behind the front crest on the inside by both Lindros and Flyers trainer, Jim Evers, in black marker, “94-95” is written below the autographs. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks are seen over both sleeve, the front and reverse as well as the team crest while board burns are seen over both sleeves and left shoulder along with board paint transfers. Additional wear is found via unrepaired holes at the left elbow, captain’s “C” and between the numbers on the right sleeve with light pilling found at the elbows on the interior and good salting to the fight strap. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
Regarding the aforementioned photo-matches, the jersey has been matched with three (3) included undated numerical images to elements such as the washed-out black marks below the team's crest on the front, the loose white thread at the bottom of the team crest, some loose threads to the "88" on both sleeves, a small hole in the bottom portion of the second "8" of the right sleeve, a number of marks on the right sleeve near or below the "88" and to a number of marks on the second "8" on the reverse. Also, in footage showing the handshake line from Game 6 of the 1995 Eastern Conference Finals vs the New Jersey Devils (June 13th, 1995) you can clearly see a few of the marks on the second back number "8" (the blue one, the orange one and the white mark in the lower top square) as well as the black mark at the left of the "88" on the right sleeve.
