Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Featuring the highly collected Edmonton Oilers, we have a great grouping of game-used equipment. Included, we have 2 pairs of signed gloves, a signed helmet and a signed equipment bag. The gloves were worn by Dustin Penner and Ryan Potulny, both in 2009-10, with each pair signed, with the Penner pair having his name embroidered onto the wrist cuffs. Nice game-use is shown on each pair, with the Potulny examples having “16B” handwritten within the palm of each. The helmet was also worn by Potulny in 2009-10, and it features intact padding and strapping, with Oilers decals on each side along with “16” across the reverse. Light but definite use is shown on the headgear, with Potulny signing across the top section in black marker, with the signature somewhat smudged. Lastly, the equipment bag was used by Ethan Moreau circa 2006-2008, and it features large Oilers team logos with embroidered detailing on each side, along with a card inserted showing the address of Rexall Place along with a large “18”. Good use is shown on the bag with a number of marks and blemishes present, with Moreau signing near the address card in silver, and the signature displays well. LOAs from the Edmonton Oilers will accompany each item.
