Devan Dubnyk and Dwayne Roloson are among a stellar cast of Edmonton Oilers goaltending alumni. Offered here are five items, each with their respective LOA or COA, including three pieces from Dubnyk and two items from Roloson. Dubnyk’s 2003-04 WHL Kamloops Blazers game-worn jersey is featured along with his signed 2009-10 Oilers game-used stick and his signed 2010-11 Oilers game-used glove and blocker. Roloson, who helped lead Edmonton to the Stanley Cup final in 2006, has signed his 2007-08 Oilers game-used stick as well as a TPS blocker with “Roloson 3/35” embroidered on the cuff, which indicates that it was part of a limited-edition.
Dubnyk’s 2003-04 Kamloops Blazers game-worn jersey comes with a Blazers LOA. It shows nice game wear that includes black marks on the front and both sleeves, which also display some red and blue paint transfer. CCM/CHL tagging sits in the back of the neck along with a Goalie Style flag tag, which has a cardboard label with “2003-04 D. Dubnyk” handwritten in black ink stapled to it, and a size 60 flag tag. There is evidence of a former nameplate as these gamers were often recycled;
Dubnyk has signed in silver paint pen at the top of the paddle of his 2009-10 Edmonton Oilers Bauer Supreme 7500 game-used stick, which has his original tape jobs on the knob, handle and blade and displays solid game use. “Dubnyk” is factory stamped high on the shaft and an Oilers hologram sticker is affixed beside it on the front of the shaft. Comes with an Oilers LOA signed by Kevin Lowe;
Dubnyk’s 2010-11 Edmonton Oilers Bauer “ONE100” game-used trapper and blocker gloves are each signed on the front in blue marker. The gloves come with an Oilers LOA signed by Kevin Lowe that states that Dubnyk used them during the 2010-11 season. “Dubey” is embroidered on the cuff of each glove, both of which displays loads of game wear. Oilers hologram stickers are applied to each glove and their respective inventory numbers, #6625 for the trapper and #6626 for the blocker, are handwritten in black marker inside the glove adjacent to the stickers;
Roloson has signed in black marker on the heel of his 2007-08 Edmonton Oilers TPS Response Lite game-used stick with “Roloson” factory stamped on the shaft which retains his original tape jobs on the knob, handle and blade. It displays solid game use and comes with an NHL Alumni COA signed by Mark Napier that states that Roloson signed the stick after the Oilers’ final home game of the 2007-08 season;
Dwayne Roloson signed in silver paint on the front of a TPS Summit blocker in Oilers colors, a near-pristine example that comes with a HockeyInk COA.
