Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
One of only 8 individuals to win the coveted Hart Memorial Trophy as the league’s most valuable player 3 times or more, Bobby Clarke also garnered 3 100 point seasons, and was a back-to-back Stanley Cup champion in 1974 and 1975. We have a stick used by the HOFer, circa 1976-77. A Sher-Wood PMP 5001 model, “Clarke B” and “16” appear on the upper shaft, with the original black tape over the blade (missing a few strands) and white tape covering the knob. Both striping accents are intact, with nice use exhibited on the pattern made stick with wear to the taped section of blade, along with additional wear to the identifiers on both sides of the shaft. We should also note that this is the same model stick Clarke used in the 1976 Canada Cup tournament.
