The first goaltender in NHL history to claim consecutive Hart Memorial Trophies, Domink Hasek is a two-time Stanley Cup champion, with enshrinement within hockey’s house of heroes occurring in 2014. Hailing from his Vezina and William Jennings-winning season of 2000-01, we have a signed blocker and glove combo along with a signed and framed 11” x 14” photo. Both Louisville TPS Xhale models in Sabres colours, each has “Handcrafted in Canada” and “Hasek” embroidered-on, with all of the original strapping and lacing intact. The Dominator has signed the blocker across the face in gold, while a light blue signature has been added to the glove along the bottom of the pocket, with both signatures displaying well. The signed photo feature’s a bold black marker signature, framed to total dimensions of roughly 13” x 16”. Signed LOAs along with MeiGray CORs will accompany both the blocker and glove.
The blocker exhibits numerous puck marks across the face, with no damage or unsightly wear to the palm, while the glove shows great use with the pocket littered with dark puck marks. There are also a few small repairs to the glove just beneath the wrist guard section. We should also note that according to the accompanying LOAs, Hasek states that these items are “my game/practice worn equipment”, but considering the fact that we were only able to find images of Dominik wearing slightly different style models in games, these were most likely practice-used.
