The No. 1 pick in the 2002 NHL Draft, Columbus Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash scored 40 goals and had a career-high 79 points in 2008-09. Nash’s game-worn jersey with the JHM patch on the right breast and a team repair above the “6” on the right sleeve is from his sixth of nine seasons in Columbus before he was traded to the New York Rangers. Size 56 flag tag sits in the back of the neck and a “Columbus Blue Jackets 2008/2009 Home Set #1” team patch is sewn inside the rear tail. More game wear includes board burns on the right and left shoulders and left sleeve, and a black mark on the white twill star at the bottom of the left sleeve. Comes with a Blue Jackets LOA.
The Blue Jackets wore the “JHM” patch throughout the 2008-09 season in memory of the late John H. McConnell, the team’s founder and majority owner.
