Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Hailing from the early-to-mid 1990s, we have an attractive pair of Montreal Expos home jerseys, with an example worn by second baseman and current Triple-A manager Delino DeShields in 1993, along with a jersey worn by pitcher Mel Rojas in either 1995 or 1996. Matching in style with Russell labeling on the lower front left tail of each, with a “1992” date swatch on the DeShields jersey, both are styled with “Expos” scripted across the chest in dual-colour tackle twill. Each button-up has also been accented with front and verso numbers in matching material, along with an alternate crest over the left sleeve of the Rojas jersey and Expos 25th anniversary crest on the DeShields example. Showing light wear, each jersey remains in wonderful condition.
