Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Strong, agile and dominant, Larry Robinson’s time on the blue line was invaluable to Montreal, with the two-time Norris Trophy winner awarded the Conn Smythe as the most valuable player of the 1978 playoffs. We have a Canadiens alternate captain’s jersey worn by the Winchester native during the twilight of his career with the Habs in the late-1980s. Maska Ultrafil tagging sits affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest on the back bottom hem. Styled with the most recognizable team crest in hockey fully administered in tackle twill, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the alternate’s “A” in matching material. Nice use is exhibited with marks over each sleeve, along with pilling and 5 team repairs, with the bulk over the left sleeve. An LOA will accompany.
