Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Remembered for his tough, aggressive style on the blue line, defenceman Bob Rouse spent time with a number of NHL clubs during his career including Detroit, Washington and Toronto. This Maple Leafs alternate captain’s jersey was worn by the Surrey native during the 1992-93 season. Maska Ultrafil tagging along with “54” size tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the forever-classic Leafs team crest and tackle twill numbers, the Stanley Cup 100th anniversary patch sits over the right breast along with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. A heat-pressed bar code from Sports Registry sits affixed near the fight strap, with an LOA to accompany.
Game wear on the alternate captain’s Leafs jersey includes a few marks over each sleeve along with some pilling, with some light staining near the left armpit and to the right of the team crest.
