This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
While not Canada’s best showing, the 1998 Winter Olympics Team Canada squad was loaded with veteran talent including a 25 year old Eric Lindros. His second appearance on the Olympic stage, Eric would finish the tournament with 5 points in 6 games played. We have a great group of 1998 Winter Olympic memorabilia, all hailing from the personal collection of Eric Lindros. Included, we have Eric’s 1998 Team Canada Roots jacket, his Team Canada coat, an Olympic polo shirt and a 1998 Nagano souvenir keepsake in the shape of a puck. Lastly, we have Eric’s Team Canada flag. A signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
The breakdown for each of the offered items is as follows: 1) Eric Lindros’ 1998 Olympics Team Canada jacket. Made by Roots, a chenille Canada/Olympic rings crest sits over the left breast, with the emblem repeated along the reverse with “Canada” above. The Nagano logo sits over the right sleeve, along with “98” over the left. In beautiful condition, with just a few light stains present. 2) Eric Lindros 1998 Olympic Team Canada coat. A heavy winter affair in solid red and made by Bauer, an embroidered Team Canada logo resides over the left breast, with a couple Olympic pins also affixed. With no damage or excessive wear, the coat remains in excellent condition. 3) Eric Lindros’ Team Canada polo shirt. Made by Roots with intact tagging, a Canada/Olympic rings crest sits over the left breast. A few stains are present on the lower front. 4) Eric Lindros’ Team Canada flag. At roughly 34” x 62”, the polyester flag with grommets for hanging features the Hockey Canada logo, with a few stains present. 5) Nagano Olympic souvenir. The shape and size of a regular puck but much lighter, the Nagano logo appears on one side, along with the IIHF logo on the reverse. With the original box accompanying, the keepsake survives in near mint condition.
