Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
A 1996 World Series champion with the New York Yankees, Cecil Fielder was a 4th round choice of the Royals in the 1982 amateur draft. 13 MLB seasons would follow, with the Los Angeles native recognized as a premier power hitter during his career. We have a bat used by Fielder during the mid-1990s. A Cooper Pro 100 signature model from the 1993-97 labeling period, “271” appears on the barrel along with “Cecil Fielder”. Featuring a cupped barrel end with “45” handwritten, the number is repeated on the knob, with “35” and “33 OZ” stamped-on. Cleat and ball marks are visible along the barrel, with wear to the dark finish, along with pine tar affixed to the handle. The uncracked 34 ¾” bat will be accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA.
