Brian Bellows’ 1996-97 Mighty Ducks game-worn jersey saw duty during the Stanley Cup playoffs. Bellows scored two goals and six points in 11 playoff games with Anaheim. He scored 15 of his 16 goals in 1996-97 with the Mighty Ducks, who acquired him in a trade with Tampa Bay on November 19, 1996. Bellows, who finished his career with 485 goals and 1,022 points, appeared in three NHL All-Star Games as a member of the Minnesota North Stars and won the Stanley Cup in 1993 with the Montreal Canadiens. His Mighty Ducks playoff gamer has Nike Team Sports size 54 and NHL Center Ice tagging in the back of the neck along with a Made in Canada flag tag. The Nike swoosh logo is embroidered in white thread on the right rear tail and a “1997 Stanley Cup Playoffs” team patch with the embroidered Mighty Ducks logo is sewn inside the right rear tail, above where the NHL logo sits on the outer hem. There is a team repair on the jade portion of the lower left sleeve and more playoff game wear shows in black marks on the front tail and both sleeves, particularly on the upper back of the right sleeve, as well as board burns on the sleeves, unrepaired burn holes on the right sleeve, and a faint reddish mark to the left of the “3” between the number 23 sewn on the back in plum, white and jade triple twill.
