Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
A former Vice-President of the National Hockey League Players Association, Andy Moog is second only to the legendary Jacques Plante as the fastest netminder to reach 300 wins. This Dallas Stars jersey was worn by the BC native in 1995-96. A size “54” fly tag along with a CCM label are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL, CCM and Dallas Stars crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the attractive and partially embroidered Stars team crest, the solid white garment has been accented with double-twill numbers and name-on-nameplate, with matching Texas alternate patches over each shoulder. The team patch sits on the inside hem beneath a heat-pressed Sports Registry barcode, and it denotes the sweater as a “1995-96 Game Worn” example.
Game-wear includes just a few random marks present, with some pilling around the inner collar and along the inside of the lower front.
