Drafted 40th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1990, forward Mikael Renberg would spend six seasons in Pennsylvania, before moving on to Toronto after a 10-game visit to Phoenix. This Flyers jersey was worn by the Swedish native in 1999-00, and it’s been photo-matched. A size “56” fly tag along with a CCM label with handwritten “19” sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Featuring an attractive winged “P” Flyers team crest, the v-neck sweater has been embellished with double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with the important NHL 2000 crest residing just above the right breast. An LOA will accompany.
Game-wear includes a number of large stick marks on the lower front, along with additional marks and board burns over each sleeve. There is also a pair of team repairs present over the right elbow. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty image #72476780 from Nov 10th 1999 has been matched to a number of black marks on and around the number "19" on the left sleeve. We should also note that a handwritten tag has been attached to the fight strap, and it denotes this sweater as being from the first set of 1999-00.
