The 13th overall draft pick in 2003, Alexander Semin spent six season’s in the US capital before moving on to Carolina and Montreal. This Capital’s jersey was worn by the Russian forward in 2006-07. Size “58” tagging from CCM sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back neckline respectively. Styled with the Washington Capitol team crest in use from 2002 to 2007, the solid black v-neck has been adorned with textured triple-twill numbers along with alternate eagle crests over each shoulder. Game-wear consists of board burns over each shoulder, along with a pair of team repairs near the alternate patch on the left shoulder. The detailed team patch sits on the inside hem along with an example from MeiGray numbered D10045, and according to the accompanying LOA, this jersey is a “Black Set 1” example.
