Attracting just shy of 20,000 fans, the 53rd NHL All-Star Game took place in Florida in February of 2003 and featured a team of Western Conference stars taking on the East, with a 6-5 shootout victory for the former over the latter. Markus Naslund of Vancouver was named as the game’s MVP. This Eastern Conference jersey was worn in the second period by Martin St. Louis, and it’s been signed. With size 56 tagging in the collar and CCM crest on the back neckline, there’s also NHLPA and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Highlighted with an NHL shield crest in silver and black, the 2003 NHL all-star crest sits over the right breast, while a Canadian flag patch rests over the right shoulder. Double-twill numbers have also been utilized on the lower front and verso, along with a Tampa Bay team patch over the right shoulder. We should also note that the garment has been customized for St. Louis, with a shortened hem along with shortened sleeves. With no discernible wear present, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. St. Louis has added an attractive black marker signature between the numbers on verso, and it displays well. A MeiGray patch numbered A07764 sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "2nd Per. / Eastern Conference" example. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
