As the 20th century came to a close, it wasn’t just the end of an era, it also signaled the unfortunate conclusion to the greatest hockey career fandom has ever witnessed. Wayne Gretzky bid hockey`s hopeful adieu and played in his swan song game in 1999. These two framed photos feature Wayne in tranquil moments, including his last game at Maple Leaf Gardens, and both photos are accompanied by a signed Hespeler Gretzky model stick. The last game at MLG photo is 18” x 21”, while the second example, showing Wayne stepping onto the ice, is 19” x 24”. Both photos sport WGA logos, and both are signed in blue sharpie, with perfect signatures.
The accompanying Hespeler 5500 Fiberglas model stick has “Gretzky” stamped on the upper shaft, with Wayne adding a gorgeous black marker signature across the blade. In flawless condition, the top of the shaft has a custom-rounded shape with original point of sale barcode still in place.
