Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
The idol of Patrick Roy growing up, goaltender Dan Bouchard’s career was split between Atlanta and Quebec, and he’s remembered for a number of iconic masks he donned. This Atlanta Flames jersey was worn by the Val d’Or native in circa 1978-79. Partially detached Russell Athletic size tagging is present, and it remains along the neck line. Styled with dual-colour tackle twill numbers, team crest and name-on-nameplate, the mesh v-neck garment also features rubberized sleeve and lower striping bands. Visible game-wear is light, with just a few random dark marks present including near the team crest and on the upper left sleeve. We should also note that the garment has a loop-style fight strap, with a piece of clear tape that has been affixed.
