Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
This classic 1990s Vancouver jersey was worn by Kirk McLean, the Canucks' all-time leader in games played by a goalie, with 516. This beauty is from 1995-96, when McLean had 15 wins despite the first of two knee injuries that plagued him over his final years in Vancouver. The Canuck Place patch sits on the right shoulder of McLean's gamer from the team's second season set, indicated by the "S2-96" black marker notation on the CCM goalie style flag tag in the neck. A size 56 flag tag is beside it and the fight strap has been cut. Game wear includes red paint transfer on the left rear tail, back of the left shoulder and the back of the neck, as well as black marks on the sleeves, particularly the left arm. Comes with Kirk McLean's signed LOA.
