Some neat old card albums here are joined by a nifty little Stanley Cup, with the rather heavy metal trophy standing 4-1/2" high and featuring "COUPE STANLEY CUP" on the barrels. It's believed that the mini Stanley Cup was available through a mail-in promotion offered on Parkhurst hockey card wrappers in 1963-64. As for the albums, three of them were designed to hold Parkhurst cards, beginning with the company's 1952-53 issue. The thick paper sheets with slits in them, (to place the cards in), are indeed present, as are the similar cardboard sheets in albums from '53-54 and '54-55. All three albums exhibit moderate to heavy wear but are fine complements to Parkie card sets. A Topps Hobby Card Album is nicer at VG and has slotted black paper pages, enough to hold 108 cards, with a checklist on the inside back cover free of any writing. Meanwhile, dating back to the 1930s is a folder, or "wallet" as it's described inside, that originally held "Champion" postcards. Among the ten stars of the day listed on the opposite flap of where the original owner's name is penned, are King Clancy, Aurele Joliat, Charlie Conacher and Cook brothers. Measuring 4-1/2" by 6-1/2", it's tattered and creased but still intact, with a nice hockey scene on the cover.
