From the collection of longtime Philadelphia Flyers’ executive and later Spectrum president, Lou Scheinfeld, here is his Philadelphia Phillies memorabilia and goodies collection. Leading-off this collection are Stadium giveaway nodders, all mint in their boxes, including those of Jimmy Rollins, Randy Wolf, Larry Bowa, Phil & Phillis (mascots) and two sets of Harry & Whitey. A pair of baseball-shaped coffee mugs with “Phillies, Join the team!, 29 WTAF-TV”, a baseball-shaped glass paperweight for the 1996 All-Star Game, an NBC Sports World Series 1980 tall coffee mug and a pair of Phillies solid brass coasters with leather inserts makes for nifty display pieces. For those of you preferring printed memorabilia the collection features an assortment of eleven programs/publications including three All-Star Games programs, 1995 World Series programs, 2004 Phillies opening day items including two programs, one scorecard, one promo poster and three other miscellaneous publications. Ticket collectors will appreciate game 79 (four tickets) and game 80 (seven tickets) “Final Innings” last home games at Veterans Stadium tickets while oddball collectors will enjoy 2004 Citizens Bank Park inaugural opening day towel & sports bag and a pair of commemorative pictures of Richie Ashburn. All items are in excellent condition.
