Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
With almost three-quarters of a century of paramount history, it’s fair to say that the Montreal Forum was the greatest hockey venue the sport has ever known. This lot contains a nice collection of items that all pertain to the world’s best hockey arena. We have ticket stubs/programs for the last game at the Forum along with the first game at the Bell centre, a laminated on board image of the complete set of last season Forum tickets from Guy Lafleur’s personal collection, which he has also signed, four additional Forum images and two last season ticket booklets both with the last 10 tickets intact. The laminated board measures 25” x 34” and remains in excellent condition, with Lafleur signing the reverse. The ticket stubs are in beautiful condition, exhibiting just a few corner touches, while the programs just exhibit very light handling wear. The added Forum pictures include an example on board (just under 11” x 14”) showing the closing ceremonies, along with a pair of matted and framed Forum photos (12” x 14” and 12” x 16”). There is also a signed print of the Forum, framed to full dimensions of 14 ¾” x 17 ¾”.
