Spectacular and scarce WHA find is this blue durene road gamer worn by defenceman Mike Amodeo during the 1973-74 Toronto Toros' inaugural season. Entered in the MeiGray Vintage registry, this game-worn jersey has the old black and gold Maska tagging and a Men's XL size 48 flag tag in the neck and the distinctive "Toros" patches sewn on both sleeves. There is a three-inch long team repair on the back of the right shoulder and more game wear shows in black marks on the front and rear tails and sleeves, which also exhibit equipment pinching, as well as interior pilling and red paint transfer on the left sleeve. There are reddish brown stains inside the jersey on the sides of the collar and top of the shoulders. A tough customer on defence, Amodeo moved with the team from Ottawa to Toronto and posted 82 penalty minutes in 77 games with the Toros. Comes with a MeiGray Vintage LOA and MeiGray certificate of registration.
