The MVP at the 2007 World Championships where he helped Canada secure gold, Rick Nash was selected first overall by Columbus in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, staying with the club for 9 productive seasons. This Blue Jackets jersey was worn by the Brampton native during his rookie season of 2002-03. Size tagging is affixed to the collar, with embroidered KOHO and NHL crests on the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with double twill numbers, there are also matching blue jacket patches over each shoulder along with screened-on stars along each cuff. According to the accompanying LOA from MeiGray, the original consignor purchased this jersey from the Columbus team store. A COR from the noted company will also be included.
Visible game-wear consists of a few marks and board burns on the lower front, along with additional burns on each sleeve. Nash would finish his first NHL season with 39 points in the 74 games he played.
