Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Two-time Cup winner Ulf Samuelsson spent parts of 17 seasons in the NHL, mainly split between the Whalers, Rangers and Penguins. Starter and size 54 tagging sits along the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL patches on the back bottom hem. Accented with drop shadow tackle twill letters and numbers, the back name has been sewn directly onto the jersey. The team patch sits on the inside hem, with some staining to the intact fight strap. The jersey exhibits heavy board burns with resulting holes over each sleeve, with a rear collar split down to the Starter tag, while the front collar is torn dead center down thru the "N" and "G" in Rangers and was later repaired.
