Loaded with signatures, we have a pair of early-1970s programs from the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers. The Boston Bruins program is from a March 24th match against the Montreal Canadiens in 1974. It has been signed by a number of players from both teams including Cournoyer, Orr, Esposito, Bucyk, Cashman, Marcotte, Vadnais, Gilbert and Frank Mahovlich. A total of 14 signatures are present, spread out over various pages, and all are in nice condition and penned in blue ink. The center section with line-up card is still intact, and the 8 ½” x 11” program itself has seen only regular light wear from handling. The Flyers program hails from a Feb 17th contest against the Bruins in 1972. It has also been signed by a number of players from both clubs including Orr, Cheevers, Johnston, Esposito, Sanderson, Cashman, Awrey, Westfall and Marcotte for the Bruins, along with Nolet, Potvin, Foley, Clarke, Flett, Lonsberry, Kelly, Parizeau, Joyal, Brossart, VanImpe, LcLeod and Favell for Philadelphia. A total of 23 signatures are present, with most scripted on the front cover in ballpoint. The program itself shows moderate wear, with a center fold line down the middle of the program, along with some creasing, edge wear and surface dents. A chunk is also missing out of the top left corner of the center line-up section.
