Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Classic vintage style, this Pittsburgh Penguins mesh jersey was worn by Tony Feltrin in the early-1980s. The SK Sandow and laundry tagging remains affixed to the collar with an additional Sandow logo that’s been heat-pressed onto the back bottom hem. With two-tone tackle twill letters sewn onto a mesh nameplate as well as loop-style fight strap, the rest of the jersey is styled in heat-pressed back and sleeve numbers as well as team crest. Game-use includes a few large black marks on the elbow area of the right sleeve as well as some light wear to the heat-pressed team crest and numbers. Worn by Feltrin in 1981-82 or 1982-83, the Pens wore Stall and Dean jersey’s in '81, Sandow SK in '81-82, they then switched to General Athletic to start the '82-83 season, and finally switched back to Sandow to finish that season.
