The 1999-2000 New York Rangers played their first home game of the new millennium on January 3, 2000, when they hosted the St. Louis Blues. Defenseman Rich Pilon wore this single-use #47 game-worn jersey during the game, a 5-2 loss to the Blues. A Rangers 1999-2000 MeiGray patch is sewn inside the rear hem along with a special “NYR 2000, 1999-2000 Season – Millenium Collection, 01/03/00, vs. St. Louis Blues” patch. Tie-down gamer with NHL 2000 patch sewn on the right breast has Pro Player tagging in the neck along with a size 58 flag tag. Single-use gamer displays obvious wear in the form of marks and board burns on the back of the left sleeve, and more marks on the left front tail. Comes with MeiGray documentation including a Rangers LOA signed by president and GM Neil Smith, MeiGray hologram stickers, and a MeiGray certificate of registration.
