Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
The first Canadian male to ever win a professional major championship, Mike Weir was victorious in the 2003 Masters. This lot contains a full-size limited-edition TaylorMade R580 Series replica driver, with its own custom case. This is an exact replica of the driver Weir used to win the Masters, with a Weir facsimile signature on the toe. At 4 ½” x 52” x 10”, the silver case features a TaylorMade medallion with a plaque mounted to the interior listing the particulars. Limited to only 500 produced, the driver’s head is still factory wrapped, with a special edition head cover used by tour players from TaylorMade included in its original packaging. Numbered #MW049, the club and case remain in gorgeous condition, with just some regular handling wear to the case including a few scratches.
