This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
For those who collect the icons of the game, in this lot we have a signed Bobby Orr “The Goal” framed display, a signed Wayne Gretzky “4-Time Stanley Cup Champion” display, and three tastefully mounted pucks signed by Orr, Hull and the Richard brothers. “The Goal” display features an iconic black and white image of Bobby scoring the Stanley Cup winning goal in 1970, with a plaque placed beneath listing the particulars. Bobby has added a beautiful blue sharpie signature below his image, with the photo framed to total dimensions of roughly 26 ¼” x 27 ¼”. The Gretzky display features a photo of Wayne on-ice in his Oilers jersey, with a silver plaque beneath stating “4-Time Stanley Cup Champion”. Hand-numbered 97/199, Wayne has added a perfect blue sharpie signature with “Oilers Cups 84/85/87/88”. Double-matted and framed to dimensions of 15 ¼” x 18”, a hologram from WGA has been placed in the lower left, and a matching COA will accompany. Lastly, the three pucks have been mounted in a plexiglass case for display with an adhered plaque which reads in full “Gilette Limited Edition Of Nine – Gordie Howe Bobby Hull Maurice Richard”. Each has signed in gold paint pen on his respective team puck, with the Canadiens example signed by both The Rocket and Henri Richard.
