Highly desirable, the earliest Western Hockey League game pucks date back to the 1950s and feature a scripted “Official” on the side, while the logos are screened, with the “PCHL INC 1945” in the reverse logo referring to the year the Pacific Coast Hockey League was incorporated. The PCHL merged in the 1950s with the Western Canada Senior League to form the WHL. A Calgary Stampeders puck looks to be the condition leader here, with a Seattle Americans biscuit and two featuring “Regals” logos considered by some to be among the most difficult of the series to track down. The Americans puck has some pitting on the reverse, to go along with a rough back edge, while the Regals logos exhibit wear. Light logo wear but no unsightly chips in the pucks themselves are to mention when describing Edmonton Flyers, Winnipeg Warriors, Vancouver Canucks and Victoria Cougars pucks, with scratches and minor chips/nicks present on a Seattle Totems representative. A tantalizing ensemble that features multiple prized possessions, this group is sure to garner considerable interest.
