Serious collectors of vintage game pucks, along with those looking to make a splash in the hobby, may well be in awe of this decades-in-the-making hoard featuring the captivating logos of clubs from the Western Hockey League, one of the first leagues to put team logos on pucks. It started back in the mid-1950s and for over a decade involved CCM slugs, with coveted rubber-crested Converse pucks appearing in the mid-1960s. The earliest pucks included a scripted “Official” and are high in demand, with nine from the series offered here, while additional desirable rink relics are among the 18 from the 1956 to 1965 time frame and which include “OFFICIAL” in big block letters on the side. The mesmerizing stash goes on and on with dozens of tantalizing biscuits, with condition, overall, quite impressive. From the Brandon Regals and Denver Invaders to the Seattle Americans and Victoria Cougars, this collection boasts numerous infrequently-seen examples. It is being offered as an entire collection, as well as in individual lots, with bidding procedures and the remarkable lineup detailed on our website.
