A franchise dating back to 1943, the North Bay Centennials played in the OHL from 1982-2002. This lot contains three Centennials jerseys, with examples worn in the 1990’s by Ryan Armstrong, Corey Neilson and Peter McCague. The Neilson and McCague jerseys are both white-set examples, with Maska Ultrafil and CCM tagging in the collar respectively, along with embroidered CCM and CHL crests on the bottom hem. Styled with tackle twill numbers and name-on-nameplate, the McCague sweater also sports a “Bell All-Star Cup ‘98” patch over the right breast. Heavy wear is present on both jerseys, with numerous black marks on the lower fronts and sleeves, along with small holes resulting from board burns on the Neilson example. The Ryan Armstrong jersey is an alternate captain’s example, with Bauer size tagging in collar along with embroidered CHL and Bauer patches on the back bottom hem. Accented with tackle twill numbers, alternates “A” and name-on-nameplate, the jersey shows great use with dark marks present on the front lower striping band and both sleeves. There is also faint board burns around the right elbow, along with a heavy stick mark on the left sleeve across the number. Peter McCague played with North Bay from 1995-96 to 1997-98, while Corey Neilson was with the club from 1993-94 to 1995-96. Ryan Armstrong’s tenure was from 1998-99 to 2001-02.
