Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
The King Clancy patch worn by the Maple Leafs during the 1986-87 season sits between the white twill leaf and the number 12 on the left shoulder of forward Jeff Jackson’s game-worn jersey. The Leafs added the patch in memory of Clancy after the HOFer passed away in November. Size “50” is handwritten on the CCM flag tag. The "84 10" born on date tag behind it points to the jersey coming from an earlier set. There are no signs of a nameplate change. A heavily-reinforced belt style fight strap sits inside the back and the CCM* logo is embroidered on the right rear tail. There is a light board burn on the left sleeve and there are a few unrepaired holes on the back of the upper right sleeve.
