Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016

Aquired late in the 1998-99 season by the Toronto Maple Leafs, Yanic Perreault was traded from the LA Kings for Jason Podollan along with a third round draft pick. This Leafs jersey was worn by Perreault in the spring of 1999. Center Ice and Nike size tagging is affixed to the collar, with additional embroidered Nike and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Featuring a classic Leafs team crest, the jersey also has vintage-style Maple Leafs on both shoulders along with the commemorative “Memories & Dreams” Maple Leafs Gardens patch over the right breast. Game-wear includes dark marks on the right sleeve, along with board burns and small resulting holes on each. There are also heavy team repairs on the v-neck sweater, along the left sleeve’s seam and cuff. The team patch sits on the inside hem, and it divulges that the jersey is a “1998-99 Game Worn 2 of 2” example
