Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
This lot contains four goal sticks, all associated with the Montreal Canadiens. We have a pair of game-used sticks from Jose Theodore and Cristobal Huet, along with a stick used by Richard Sevigny in an oldtimers capacity, as well as a Patrick Roy model KOHO stick with facsimile signature. The Theodore and Huet sticks are Sher-Wood and Reebok models respectively, both with the users name on the upper shaft. Both retain their original tape jobs, including gauze-style tape on the handle of the Theodore stick. Both show heavy use, with puck marks and wear on the blades, along with marks and abrasions on the paddles. The Theodore stick has tape added to small breaks on the paddle. The Sevigny stick is a Sher-Wood model, and it has “Sevigny” on the upper shaft, along with the original tape on the blade and paddle. This stick also exhibits heavy use, with puck marks and wear to the taped section of blade. The Roy model KOHO Revolution stick has “P. Roy” in factory graphics on the upper shaft, and it remains in excellent condition, with just the odd mark present. A facsimile signature sits on the backside of the blade, next to a Gatorade “Special Edition” logo.
