Sniper Bernie Nicholls was having a career year when he wore this jersey at the 1989 NHL All-Star Game in Edmonton. Bernie was on his way to scoring 70 goals and 80 assists for 150 points for Los Angeles during Wayne Gretkzy’s debut season with the Kings in 1989-90. Nicholls had HOFers Steve Yzerman and Dino Ciccarelli as linemates when Gretkzy made a spectacular homecoming to lead the Campbell Conference to a 9-5 win at Northlands Coliseum on February 7, 1989. Size “52” is handwritten in ballpoint on the Maska flag tag in the neck of Nicholls’ No. 9 Campbell All-Stars gamer with a cut fight strap and the 40th NHL ASG patch sewn on the right shoulder. Comes with Bernie Nicholls’ signed LOA.
Game wear includes dried sweat stains below the orange stripe on the back of the right sleeve and a few light stains below the front of the collar and on the upper front of the jersey.
