Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Wayne Gretzky was flying the New York Rangers’ red, white and blue color scheme in the “Gretzky” factory-printed graphics with “105 X-Stiff” on the front edge of his Easton Silver Tip two-piece game-used stick from his first season with the Broadway Blue Shirts in 1996-97. “Gretzky” is stamped on the front of the shaft of his Easton wood blade insert with the Great One’s distinctive baby-powdered black bulldog tape job. Wayne’s Jack the Gripper foam knob remains on the top of the shaft. Game use shows in nicks to the paint job on the upper shaft. A cool Gretzky gamer from his Broadway debut!
