Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
Not quite the longevity of his famous father, Mark Howe still managed to play an impressive 22 seasons of pro hockey shared between the WHA and NHL. This Detroit Red Wings jersey was worn by Howe in 1993-94. CCM, size and Eastside tagging remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and CCM patches on the back bottom hem. Styled with tackle twill numbers and letters, the jersey features an attractive and classic winged wheel team crest with the back name letters placed directly onto the sweater. The team patch sits on the inside hem, below the intact fight strap. Game-wear includes some dark marks scattered throughout and on the lower front, along with board burns and small resulting holes on the right sleeve.
