This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/15/2016
All-Star Russian defenseman Sergei Gonchar wore this Bauer helmet while helping his country claim silver at the 2010 IIHF World Championships, while the included gloves were worn in the mid-2000s while with the Penguins. Gonchar wore this red Bauer BHH5100 Pro helmet, which has its visor and chin strap intact. Decals with his number "55" remain on the back and a Gazprom sponsor's logo in vinyl with an adhesive foam backing is stuck on the front. Russian Federation flag decals are affixed to both sides. Game wear shows in nicks and scratches, including a long one on the right side of the visor. The offered gloves are solid black with white trim, with “S. Gonchar” embroidered onto each over the cuff guard. Bauer NBH Pro models, the gloves show nice use with wear across the top sections, along with a few small holes in the palm of the right hand.
