Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
From the days when a hockey stick was a prized possession are these 3 vintage sticks, beginning with a 45” Northland Junior in excellent condition and with a complete 12” Northland paper label affixed to the upper shaft. Next, a one-piece, unmarked 58” beauty, also in excellent condition with darkening of the wood, small nicks on the edges of the blade, and a complete 12” “Lund” label (from the C.A. Lund Company of Minnesota) on the upper shaft. And lastly, a 52” “Broadmount” (from Bredenberg Brothers), complete with a slightly damaged (on one side) Broadmount label on the shaft, and with vintage tape on the knob and blade, which is probably a one-piece job. Handwritten in black lettering on the lower shaft is “Robert Fitzgerald”, probably the youngster who owned it those many years ago.
