Bob Probert was definitely one of the toughest players throughout the late-1980s to mid-1990s, but he was also a fighter who could score. This lot contains a signed jersey and helmet from the enforcer, along with a pair of signed photos. The Black Hawks jersey is a Reebok model with all tagging intact, and includes an alternate captain’s “A”, along with “Probert” across the nameplate. Bob has signed the back “2”, and the signature has slightly bled into the material. The Bauer helmet has been accented with Black Hawks stickers on each side, and “24” on back. The signature has been placed above the forehead, and it exhibits loss from handling. Each 8” x 10” photo picturing Probert has been framed, and each exhibit beautiful black marker signatures.
The jersey remains in gorgeous condition with no damage or unsightly wear, while the helmet exhibits wear to the interior along with a few scratches and marks to the exterior (this is not a Probert game-worn helmet). LOA’s from JSA will come with the helmet and jersey, while both photos will include Basic Certifications from the aforementioned company.
