Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2015
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/3/2015
Chosen 1st overall by Tampa Bay in the June 1998 draft, Vincent Lecavalier stepped right into the Lightning lineup that fall as an 18-year-old and just kept right on going. By the time he was 24 he was a Stanley Cup champion and he went on to win the Maurice Richard Trophy with a 52-goal season in 2006-07. Vinnie has signed his Lightning CCM game-used stick twice in black marker, just above his tape job low on both sides of the shaft. “V. Lecavalier” is factory printed on the shaft, which retains his well-worn white tape job on the knob. Game use shows in the worn-through tape job on the bottom edge of the blade, and marks on the shaft. Some of the orange-colored film is missing on three sides of the upper shaft below the tape job on the knob. Lecavalier has also signed in black marker on the No. 4 on the back of a Lightning Lecavalier alternate captain’s jersey with Reebok Authentic On-Ice Game Jersey tagging and a size 52 flag tag in the neck.
