Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Selected 11th overall at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the Calgary Flames, goaltender Trevor Kidd led the Spokane Chiefs to victory at the 1991 Memorial Cup. The Dugald native also represented Canada at the World Juniors, World Championships and Winter Olympics. We have a Flames jersey that was worn by Kidd during his rookie campaign of 1993-94, where he appeared in 31 games. An unused example from 1992-93 recycled for Kidd, a Maska Air-Knit label and size “54” fly tag remain affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with an off-white and yellow layered Flames team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the mesh V-neck has been accented with sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. The Stanley Cup centennial crest has been removed from the right breast, with the screened-on team patch stating “1993-94 Season” and “Red Jersey – Set #4”. Just light overall wear is visible on the jersey, including a few dark marks over the left sleeve, along with a few fabric pulls.
