Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A first round draft choice of the now defunct Hartford Whalers in 1995, netminder Jean-Sebastien Giguere was the last active NHL player who skated for the club. Giguere was also a Stanley Cup champion with the Anaheim Ducks in 2007. We have a Saint John Flames jersey that was worn by the Montreal native during the 1998-99 AHL regular season and Calder Cup playoffs. Bauer “58” size labeling and a ProWear tag sit affixed to the collar, with embroidered Bauer and AHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the matching parent club team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the white V-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. There is also a sponsorship crest from Chrysler, situated over the right breast. Heavy use is visible on the garment, with numerous dark marks over the front and sleeves, along with red paint transfer near the right armpit. A team LOA will accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
