Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Appearing for four different NHL clubs during his lengthy career, Craig Rivet is best remembered as a Montreal Canadien, with parts of a dozen seasons spent in a Habs uniform. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the North Bay native in 1996-97, his rookie era, having played in only 24 games over the previous two seasons. A CCM “Goalie Style” label and size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “52” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Rivet” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Exhibiting light game use, there are a few board burns over the right sleeve, with some pilling beneath the fight strap. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens' letterhead will accompany.
