Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Beginning and ending his career in his native Sweden, Peter Popovic spent his first five NHL seasons with Montreal, with later single-season stints with the Rangers, Penguins and Bruins. From his time in Montreal during the mid-1990s, we have a Canadiens jersey that was worn by Popovic. Maska and size “56” labels are affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “34” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Popovic” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Sporting light game-use, there are a few random marks including a few burns over the left elbow, with a small separation to the right cuff at the seam. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
