Son of legendary Peter, brother of talented Paul, nephew of slicksters Anton and Marian, center Yan Stastny sure comes by his hockey talent honestly, and from Yan’s days with the CCHA Notre Dame, Indiana squad is this great-looking Notre Dame jersey worn by him during in the 2001-02 season, his first of 2 years with the Fighting Irish and still several years away from his rookie season with Boston in 2005-06. Tagged in the collar as “SP” with a Steiner hologram sticker attached and with a size “54” flap just below, this Stastny gamer features the “CCHA” patch sewn on the right breast, individual sewn-on lettering spells out “Notre Dame” across the front, and a Stastny nameplate and his number “11” on the back and sleeves, along with the “ND” patches on the shoulders, complete the fine-looking garment. A great gamer with a number of marks scattered about the front, back, and sleeves, puckering on the back numbers, and a Fair-More LOA rounding out this terrific Fighting Irish/Stastny game-worn jersey.
