Chosen by the Calgary Flames in the first round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Trevor Kidd, who had been a big time star in junior, would carve out a fine career in the bigs with not only Calgary but also Carolina, Florida, and Toronto. But Kidd also donned the pads for Canada’s National Team, and it was during the 1991-92 season, when he had yet to get his NHL career going, when he handled this game-used Cooper stick with the Nats. Trevor’s original tape remains on the blade, paddle and knob, and placed down the shaft and paddle is extra white tape where approximately 26 players have added their names in either black marker or blue ballpoint pen, including Ray Whitney and Pat Falloon, although we have to admit, figuring out the list is difficult. All in all, with plenty of game marks on the blade in particular, it’s a nice gamer from Mr. Kidd.
