Warm-up jackets from Canada’s two MLB teams, beginning with Willie Upshaw’s nylon jacket from when he was suiting up for the Toronto Blue Jays in the 1980s.Tagged in the collar as a “Wilson (size) 44”, Willie’s jacket with knitted collar, cuffs, and hem has “Upshaw” sewn-on lettering across the back and a partially embroidered Jays patch sewn on the left breast. This snap button affair is in excellent condition but shows dirt and stains on the collar, the team crest, and parts of the sleeves. Upshaw was a Jay from 1978 to 1987, before suiting up with the Cleveland Indians in 1988. We also have a 1990s Montreal Expos jacket with nylon shell and lining, tagged in the collar as a “Diamond Collection, MLB Starter XL”, with knitted collar, cuffs, and hem, and on the left breast the classic sewn-on Expos crest and “Expos” lettering, along with a “Starter” washing instructions patch on the inside. This snap button jacket remains in excellent condition with no issues to note. Below the collar patch is a handwritten “36” in black marker, and although the player is unknown, those who wore “36” in the 1990s for the Expos include Matt Maysey, Scott Service, Jose Paniagua, Ray Holbert, and Bobby Ayala.
